Vibes Detroit had to opportunity to visit the Rising Exhibit currently at The Nicole Tamer Art Gallery, located in the Atrium of the David Whitney Building in the heart of Downtown Detroit.
Rising features beautiful paintings from artists Carrie Day and Mattie Armstrong.
The Gallery floor to ceiling windows showing breathtaking views of Downtown Detroit which serves as the perfect backdrop for the colorful and bold works of art throughout. The Gallery is free to the public and the perfect place to unwind after a long day open daily from 7am-10pm .
The David Whitney Building also features WXYZ, a cocktail bar+ lounge located across from the gallery containing more breathtaking art from Nicole Tamer. WYXZ Lounge features a pool table, an outdoor patio area, live music and weekday happy hour specials.
