Date Night at Barda Detroit

I recently had the cutest date night at Barda. Detroit's first Argentinian restaurant specializing in Patagonian cooking. Barda is one of the newer additions to the emerging Detroit food scene, with moody lights and amazing dishes this restaurant is a must.

Price: $$$ The menu offers sharable plates that are brought to the table as they are cooked. The menu also contains a small selection of vegan and vegetarian options.

Ambiance: 10/10 I absolutely love the vibe here. The restaurant has red overhead lights that add a moody and romantic feel. The massive bar sits in the middle of the restaurant and serves as the focal point. The bar is spacious with comfortable chairs. There are also booths and a patio to accommodate larger parties. The patio also contains various sculptures throughout and has the feel of a small park.

Dinner: We got started with the Peruvian Potatoes and Chorizo Argentino. For dinner we had the Roasted Cauliflower and the Chicken in Mustard Sauce. All of the dishes were flavorful and unique. For dessert we shared the Burnt Alaska Bardas spin on the baked Alaska.

My favorite dish: The Chorizo Argentino, loved the spiciness of the sausage.

Good For: Date Night, Girls Night, After Work Drinks, Birthdays, Unique Dining Experiences

Checkout Barda if you're in the Metro Detroit Area, you won't regret it!
