Now that we're officially into May and (hopefully) the warm weather is approaching VibesDetroit wanted to compile a list of Tiki Bars exclusively within the city of Detroit for a tropical vibe:
Lost River

Located on the Eastside of Detroit in the Morningside District, Lost River is truly a hidden gem in the city. With good prices, an extensive rum focused menu, and a dark smoky ambiance you'll be sure to love this spot. The bar also includes a giant projector screen that shows classic movies and Lost River is known to have weekend food pop ups from local businesses. Limited seating which feels up fast! Get there early!
The Skip
The Belt Alley, Downtown Detroit MI, 48226
Located in The Belt Alley in the heart of Downtown Detroit The Skip is perfect for those warm summer days and nights. With a partially open style bar that includes garage doors that lift up, outdoor seating, and a walk up window the Skip is a perfect spot for tropical sipping outdoors.
There's also a frozen drink menu that includes French 75s, Irish Coffee, and Margaritas. Check out the Sipping Santa Pop Up during the holidays.
Mutiny Bar

Located in Mexican Town/Southwest Detroit Mutiny Bar is perfect for a night of tropical drinking under their beautiful twinkle lights and decor. Mutiny offers a wide variety of tropical drinks to suit your pallet. Many of the drinks are served on fire which makes this the perfect destination for the Instagram content and foodie bloggers. Mutiny is great for large groups as this bar has 4 spacious booths and a large sectioned seat area in the back perfect for accommodating larger groups. Many of the drinks are 2-4 person sharable.
